Buying a Home in Old Town

Most of the area of Old Town encompasses the land that runs from historic Main Street to the Park City Mountain Resort and to the Park City Municipal Golf Course past the community city park. Most of the homes in the area have retained their old western mining town historical charm and feature original historical architecture from Park City's first days of incorporation. There are a few modern upscale condo communities that have recently been developed in the area including the Sky Lodge community, Marsac Mill Manor, and the Caledonian. Though these condo communities are very convenient and brand new, they do not stick out, but blend beautifully into the historic properties that surround them. This mix of old and new real estate has created one of the most desirable places to live or vacation right in the center of all the activity of Park City.

Amenities in Old Town

There are countless amenities right outside your front door when you live in the Old Town area of Park City. Main Street is very close by with its world-class boutique shops where you can find many high-end unique treasures. The restaurants on Main Street rival world-class dining venues in the largest and most famous cities in the world. The downtown core of Park City is also known for its thriving intellectual and art scene with several amazingly curated galleries and the Sundance Film Festival. Each separate housing community has its own private amenities to offer homeowners as well. Some communities offer ski-in and ski-out access to Park City Mountain Resort including the properties located on Woodside Avenue above the High West Distillery.

Attractions of Park City

Park City is most notably known for its three world-class skiing resort areas including Park City Mountain Resort, the Canyons Village, and Deer Valley. Park City Mountain Resort and Canyons Village are interconnected by a gondola and offer the largest ski area in the continental United States with over 7000 acres of ski terrain. Deer Valley has earned consistent rankings by several publications and more as the best ski resort in the entire country.

Beyond the famous winter activities of Park City are world-class biking and hiking trails in the summer as well as several water activities and amazing fishing at the Jordanelle Reservoir just next to Park City. There are also a number of other amazing golf courses throughout the Park City area, both within country clubs and available to the public through community courses.

Travelers are always just a 30-minute drive to the Salt Lake City airport as well. Park City offers easy and convenient access to and from the airport with a shuttle service.

Real Estate in the Old Town Area
