Relocating to Kimball Junction

Kimball Junction was named after the stagecoach impresario William Henry Kimball, which served as hospitality stop off and a major east-west travel corridor. Today, it's one of the main visitor center entrances that welcome you to the Park City area. This unique blend of residential and commercial offers several opportunities and amenities with your daily needs taken care of as well as unique luxury perks and things to do. Most real estate in Kimball Junction is in the form of condominiums but there are a few single-family neighborhoods and townhouse communities.

Kimball Junction was originally an outlet mall and a stop-off barely noticeable just 20 years ago. But, with the new Redstone and Newpark shopping areas as well as over 1200 acres of protected green space at the Swaner Preserve featuring miles of paved and dirt trails, Kimball Junction has definitely come into its own.

Most of the condominiums and townhouses surround the Newpark Town Center on the east side of Highway 224. These more affordable condominiums than in downtown Park City start at about $350,000 and is a perfect spot for first-time homebuyers, investment properties and second homes.

Nearby

The nearby Millennium Trail runs east and west along the interstate all the way to Park City. There are several connectors, offshoots, and even a bike-sharing station located along the way as well as the Kimball Junction Transit Center. You'll find unique public art installations along the way as well as stop-offs to coffee shops, restaurants, and shopping. The run-amok trail offers a 2-mile option for dogs and the Glenwild Loop Trail is ideal for mountain bikers.

Kimball Junction Real Estate

This is probably one of the more affordable locations throughout Park City with homes starting at about $300,000 and condominiums starting at about $380,000. However, you'll find single-family homes upwards of $1 million or even more depending on location and condition.
